2. Personal data
All processing of personal data complies with the regulations applicable to the protection of personal data, in particular the provisions of the amended French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679) or “RGPD”.
The personal data collected by WRHR via the Website or by any other means are processed under the responsibility of WRHR, whose contact details are given above. The data collected and processed includes identity information, information relating to professional life and all information required to monitor the relationship with the company.
WRHR is responsible for managing communications and requests for information from data subjects, storage periods and the security of personal data.
WRHR may collect and process the personal data of (i) its customers within the mission they entrust WRHR with, (ii) prospective customers following their registration for newsletters, events or their request for information, (iii) job applicants, (iv) external contacts (service providers, public institutions, legal professionals) in the context of the management of its activity, and (v) users when they browse the Website.
Personal data is processed by WRHR for the following purposes, depending on the category of data subjects concerned: (i) the processing of files entrusted to it by its customers (contracts, invoices, accounting), (ii) the management of its communication activities (newsletter, information letters, events, etc.) with its customers and prospects, (iii) examination and processing applications from candidates, (iv) managing the contractual relationship with service providers, (iv) managing communication with public institutions and other legal professionals, and (iv) the provision of the services offered on the Website and, where applicable, the analysis of browsing habits on the Website.
The legal bases are the following: (i) the performance of the contract, (ii) prior consent (e.g. certain cookies) or the pursuit of WRHR’s legitimate interests (e.g. maintaining commercial relationship and managing recruitment), or (iii) the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (e.g. contact form). WRHR may also need to process personal data in order to comply with its legal obligations (accounting and tax).
Personal data processed by WRHR will be kept for usage by WRHR for the following periods:
- With regard to the processing of customer files throughout the contractual relationship ;
- With regard to relations with external contacts (i) for the duration of the commercial relationship with service providers, and (ii) for others (public institutions and legal professionals) for the duration of the customer file for which they were collected or for the duration necessary to achieve the intended purpose;
- With regard to communications, 3 years from the end of the contractual relationship for customer prospects and 3 years from their collection or the last contact from the prospect for non-customer prospects;
- With regard to the examination and processing of applications, for a maximum period of 2 years from the last contact from the applicant ;
- Cookies may be stored on the user’s terminal for a maximum period of 6 months.
At the end of these periods, personal data may be archived in an intermediate database for administrative reasons (legal, accounting, tax, etc.). For example, personal data may be archived for a period of 5 years from the end of the usage period, for litigation purposes (statute of limitations), or for 10 years for accounting purposes.
At the end of these periods, the data will be deleted or made anonymous, in accordance with the regulations in force.
The personal data collected may be passed on to WRHR’s lawyers and administrative staff, as well as to its IT service providers.
WRHR does not transfer personal data outside the European Union.
In accordance with the regulations, in addition to the right to file a claim with the competent authority, each data subject has a right of access, rectification and, where appropriate, portability and erasure, as well as a right to object to processing for a legitimate reason or to its restriction, and finally, the right to define directives concerning the fate of his or her personal data after his or her death. Furthermore, if consent is the legal basis for the processing of personal data, the data subject may withdraw it at any time.

If WRHR has reasonable doubt as to the identity of the person concerned when exercising its rights, it may ask the person concerned for proof of identity.
A data subject’s objection to the processing of personal data may result in WRHR being unable to process his/her request, for which it cannot be held responsible.
3. Cookies
A cookie is a small file stored by a server on a user’s terminal (computer, telephone, etc.) and associated with a web domain (i.e. in most cases with all the pages of a single website).
The Website uses two types of cookies and tracers:

In this respect, in the absence of express authorization from WRHR, it is strictly forbidden to reproduce, copy, represent, distribute or publish, temporarily or permanently, all or part of the content of the Website, on any medium or by any means whatsoever, for purposes other than personal consultation, as well as to modify, translate, arrange or adapt them in whole or in part and to create derivative works. It is also forbidden to decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the Website.

The purpose of the Website is to present the activities of WRHR.
None of the information appearing on the Website may be interpreted as pre-contractual information relating to WRHR’s services, nor as constituting any contractual guarantee whatsoever offered by WRHR in the context of its activity..
WRHR undertakes to do its best to ensure that the Website is accessible 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, subject to interruptions required for technical maintenance, servicing and updating operations that WRHR may deem necessary. Access the Website may also be limited or interrupted due to malfunctions or interruptions in computer and telecommunications systems.
WRHR cannot guarantee the user the secrecy of e-mail correspondence or any other means of communication using the Internet and which may be intercepted by a third party, due to the way in which data circulates on this network. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of each user to take all appropriate measures to protect their own data and/or software from contamination by any viruses circulating on the Internet.
